Triplet 2 demonstrates moving from a waltz-like ¾ feel into a rock/fusion 6/8. Whatever you do, don’t let the doggie throw off your performance! Although the first triple feel of ¾ mainly accents the first beat, the second triple feel of 6/8 accents beat 6. So you must think a measure ahead in 6/8 while completing the last round of ¾. And vice versa, a measure ahead in ¾ while completing the last round of 6/8. Believe me, this is tricky and takes a bit of practice at a much slower tempo to get used to this complicated transitioning.
