Drum rolls 1

The beginning of this lesson demonstrates drum rolls over top a jazz swing groove. Single strokes are used to create the rolls with one double stroke at the tail end of each roll. Although most of the drum rolls begin with the right hand, they end with a double stroke with the left hand. Sometimes, a double kick is used at the end of the rolls for emphasis. Example: RLRLRLRLL or RLRLRLRLLKK
